Happy Birthday, Andy!

Andy's birthday was yesterday and we had a great time celebrating his special day.

Reading his birthday cards.

Trying to find clues on his birthday gift scavenger hunt.
He found his prize!
Andy with his two treasures.

Can't have pizza, but how about pizza birthday cake?

Determination

Emma has been desperately trying to crawl, but so far, all she can manage is to stick her bottom up in the air.  She's really good at it though!  You can see that she's VERY determined and stubborn already.  Hmm...I wonder where she got that from?

By the way--don't you just love her noises??

This Little Piggy Went to the Doctor...

...and was diagnosed with the Swine Flu.  She had a mild fever and has been congested.  She hasn't had a fever at all today, so we're hoping that this will pass quickly and uneventfully.  Emma has been in good spirits and has been eating well, so we're happy that we caught it early and were able to get her on medication to reduce the symptoms and get rid of the flu quicker.  We'll keep you posted on how she's feeling.

Remember Us??

We're the family with the adorable five-month old that keeps us so busy, we don't have time to blog.  Here's what's been going on since we've been away:

Aunt Tonia went to Mexico and all I got was this stinkin' hat. Ole!

Grandpa Richard tried to attack me with his beard.

I have witnessed, firsthand, the fickle side of UT football.  I tried to cheer for Crompton and was enthusiastic about his first game, but not so impressed with his second.
I also made a new friend!  She seems to follow me everywhere!

I am desperately trying to crawl, but I can't quite figure it out.
Yet.
You just wait.
I'll be back soon!

Talking and Rolling

It's been a while!  Here's what's been going on in our world:

This is how we find Emma in her crib when she wakes up.  We love hearing her talk to herself!

She has also started to roll onto her tummy.  She started this weekend and is now a pro!  However, it makes bedtime a little more difficult.  We will put her down and when we check on her she is on her tummy looking up at us.
