We're Getting in the Christmas Spirit!

Coal for Christmas?

Needless to say, Emma will not be asking to see Santa anytime soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a very relaxing Thanksgiving Day topped off with a wonderful meal. After dinner we went to the Fantasy of Trees to see the gingerbread houses, trees, and of course, Santa. They all went well except for the Santa part. Emma cried before she even made it to the front of the line. But she really loved the "Reindeer Games" children's area where she could run and play.

We have a lot to be thankful for here at the Stegner household. We have one little beautiful girl who brightens our world and another sweet baby girl on the way. I hope that your Thanksgiving was filled with family, friends, and love.

It's Been a While

Our video camera has been on the fritz and we lost our small camera with the built-in video camera, so it has been a very long time since I have posted a video of Emma. Even though pictures are great, they just don't do justice to who Emma really is, so I decided to use my laptop camera so that you could get a glimpse into our world. Enjoy!

Dress-Up With Daddy

Nothing makes me happier than to have a little girl that loves playing dress-up. Emma loves wearing high heels, hats and jewelry. The other night, Emma broke out all of her dress-up goodies and modeled for Andy and I.

Even though dressing up is fun, it's always better to have a friend. Since Sophia isn't here yet, Emma looked to her daddy as a playmate.

It started out innocently enough...

...but it soon became a little uncomfortable for Daddy.

But he'd do anything for his baby girl.

For the Love of Yogurt

Emma might not eat much, but what she does eat, she eats with gusto. Yogurt is one of her favorite things to eat; partially because she really loves to feed it to herself. A small cup of yogurt provides an hour's worth of enjoyment.

She starts out using her spoon, but when it's crunch time and the cup really needs to be scraped out, only sticky, little fingers will do.

Sticky, little fingers that cause Mommy to be on high alert. You never know when one of those little buggers will go straight in her ear, her hair, or your hair.
When the eating is done, the fun is not! Yogurt cups have lots of other uses; they can be used as a phone to call up your friends.
Or they can always be used as an extra cup.
I challenge you to have this much fun eating your yogurt!

Emma and Matthew

Oh, how I love these two! It's amazing to see them together now that they are both fully mobile. Emma has always adored Matthew, and even though she comes on pretty strong, they always have fun together. We were lucky to get them together last night for our monthly "parent and child play date."
Emma liked Matthew's 4-wheeler
They might look like they're playing nicely, but they are actually "arguing" about what page to turn to!
"She sure is bossy!" Sorry Matthew. It's genetic.
"If Mega Blocks can fit, so can I!"

Matthew loves hair and was dying to get his hands on those ponytails!
