I had Emma try on her new swimsuit, handed her some sunglasses, and this is what happened. No coaxing, no coaching. This makes me nervous! But she sure is cute, isn't she?

Emma has given up on eating banana baby food, so I thought I'd try giving her real bananas and let her feed herself. I don't know how much she actually ate, but she sure had fun trying!

Getting Brave!

Emma has recently started getting brave (or impatient) and wanting to walk on her own. If there's no one around to grab onto, she'll just take off and will usually land hard on her bottom. Here, she is trying to get from her activity table to her walker. She stretches as far as she can and then takes some steps to finish the journey. We are desperately holding on to what appears to be final stretch of a semi-stationary baby. We're getting our running shoes ready!
