Two Month Checkup

Well, today was the big day.  Emma had her two month checkup and six immunizations.  Her checkup went really well.  She weighs 10 pounds 13 ounces and measures 22 1/4 inches. Everything else looked good and the doctor said she was perfect.

Then the shots happened.  She had three injections and one immunization was given orally.  After the first injection, she screamed pretty badly and cried for five minutes straight.  Her cry was one that I had never heard before and never want to hear again.  She finally calmed down and spent the afternoon napping.  The doctor said that she might get irritable tonight, so we'll see how she does.  So far so good though.
