Our Weekend

We had the best weekend! The weather here was absolutely amazing--mid 70s, sunny, and breezy. Boy, did we take advantage!

On Friday we had our sweet friends over for dinner to inaugurate our new fire pit. The kids were able to indulge in s'mores and then burn off the sugar chasing our poor cat around the yard.

On Saturday we took the kids to our farmer's market. Emma ate her way through the stands! She tried fresh lemon muffins, a fresh baked pretzel, and picked out some yummy goods for home as well. We had lunch downtown and then came home and took very long naps. Andy and I enjoyed another fire outside after the kids went to bed for the night.

The girls and I took it easy today while Andy took advantage of the great weather and painted the deck. If that wasn't enough, he made a fantastic dinner of grilled salmon. I love that man!

Emma doesn't have preschool this week because they are doing vacation bible school, so we girls will have a free week to have some fun together.
